My first poll, yay.

What if the 2.0 Sti was here in the U.S., would you still choose the Evo? Hmmmm

I definetly prefer the older oval headlight Impreza's. That would've been dope if Subaru imported Sti's when the WRX's were first getting here.

Are we talking about the Spec-C STI that had something like 322hp? The one that beat the FQ-300 in both the power and handling department in an issue of SCC? Yes, I would take that in a heartbeat. If I had the money.

if i could have one of the only ones, yes. i mean it would be a moot point if everyone could have one, also i would take a skyline, or a cosworth escort too.

Personally I love the Escort Cossies, but a used Cossie costs 35k used and there are only like 10 in the U.S. An Evo costs 30k new and there are thousands in the U.S. Honestly I don't think an Escort Cosworth would ever be a viable option.

Concerning the 2.0 STi, why would I want .5 liters less displacement? Maybe if the motor didn't ping like the 2.5.

I would LOVE the 2.0, but I am not so good working on them. I mean teh 4G63 is so ordinary top me, I know everything about it, can diagnose almost any probs. IDK, good question.

I would take an EVO over any STI (yes even the SpecC).

BUT, I would much rather have a 2.0 STI than a 2.5 STI.

Spec C is a no brainer, I'd be all over it and a Midnight Purple 3 Special Edition Skyline GT-R!

There is a local shop with an 03 WRX and the Spec C 2.0 motor that runs 11.6s. It has Ecutek, APS SR55, injectors, up-pipe, exhaust and upgraded intercooler (full interior). They upgraded the axels and plan on running more boost. The 11.6 was done on 20 psi IIRC.

I would say that is a very impressive engine.
