Sway bar suggestions for '69 Camaro?

OK, my Camaro has no sway bars right now.

When deciding what sizes to go with for front and rear, any advice? Matched size or should one be larger?

Or as my father suggested, no rear bar at all?

This is just my opinion and I am an amauter at this stuff. I do know if this helps or not.
Any thing that is bigger than the evo since the weight the vehicle is probably larger.
Generally, you do sway bars to help the wheels stay planted on the ground and reduce the body roll. Also, you need to consider the front and rear weight distribution, suspension effects from having a sway bar, and handling characteristics you want from the car. I am probably wrong, but no one is answering.

No, your answers are great. I appreciate the thought.

My problem is that I want someone experienced in muscle cars to say "put X on the front and Y on the back." Which probably won't happen.

Wouldn't a REAR sway bar increase oversteer? Doesn't that car have massive oversteer?

When the gas is down, yes. The car has crazy oversteer. I guess I'll throw on the front bar and see how things feel.

Yeh get just the front. Try to reduce the slop in the rear but I immagine it is leaf springs so IDK about those. A front ONLY bar would reduce oversteer.

What motor/trans/rear end combo? Cert?

That is My favorite Camaro, I want a BLK on BLK 69 Vert, ohhh so sexy, wana big block too.

Just the Sport Coupe model.
327 with 350 heads.
4-speed cheapo tranny
373 rear end
Not sure what cert is short for.
Yeah, it's leaf in the rear.

Yeah, I love the '69. I wish it was black and an SS, but you take what you can get on a 35-year-old collector car.

Ahhh. No, sadly. Since it's Summer-only, drop-top would be great.

I just had a thought. You only need a rear sway bar if you have rear independent suspension. The car basically has a rear sway bar by using the solid rear axle right?
Am I wrong?
