Check out this month's Hot Rod for a viper none of us will ever touch in our Evos--800 awhp be damned. Full interior, stereo and street driven no less. You might get him on the street since he's goin to be seriously traction limited but I doubt it. Maybe you should go that route instead of the twin turbo LS7. though I'm sure the Lingenfelter group is already planning a big time power upgrade for the new Z06.

800 awhp with TRACTION is the key. i've run vipers with more power on the street. but the can't put it to the ground. at the track with slicks is a different story. but i don't race on the track unless i just want to see my ET and mph. Most of my racing is on the street. if a see a viper with street tires, he's done. I've considered a twin turbo Viper which would make ungodly power, but it's just not suitable for street racing. Personally, I think Lingenfelter group is going to have many challenges than before since John is no longer around. Don't get me wrong, I'm a huge Lingenfelter fan.

I just checked it out and that is one impressive Viper. 8´s at 168 with a full interior and italian leather seats. That is one bad Viper. But I noticed it had Hoosier slicks,if that Viper is running street tires like michilin pilots even with 335´s my money on a street race from a dig to 140 mph is on big3etr.

^Post some pics, and how the hell do you manage the turbo lag with whats needed to produce 800whp on an evo? you HAVE to be running larger displacement and prolly shifting at 10k right?

Any chance you can give us the skinny on your mods, everything on the sight just says custom. I noticed forced performance turbos. I looked up there sight and I see a tme trubo and a gt3582. Anywho just had to ask, I love it man.. Do you have any videos of it? A run or heck even na dyno pull.

You can go to www.switzerperformanceinnovation.com to see some pictures and specifications. But actually those are old and it is now 800whp, not 700whp as stated on the site. This is a one-of custom built 2.4L EVO that will be used to compete against any true street car in the world. I will post new pictures of the 800 whp beast as soon as i get my new camera.

It is hush hush for apparent reasons. I need to give some good asswhoopings this year to some fellow viper and supra owners.

Wow 800WHP on an EVO is very impressive, please get some pics of a dyno graph, cuz that has got to be one of the most powerful EVOs in the world. I mean some 9 and 10 second EVOs are only making between 600-700WHP (but then again they are set up for drag racing, it's not always about how much power, but how it is utilized). Get that beast to the track and see what she runs, any plans on going to the EVO vs. WRX/STi meet.
