As much as I love Benz'z they are on the bottom of the list as far as build quality and reliabilty. We have an 04 E500 and it has been in the shop for many problems, breaks had to be replaced rotors and all and sometimes it doesn't start, suspension makes noises, Traction control is messed up
Lexus is on the TOP of the list as far as build quality, for some strange reason Buick is VERY good too.

bimmers are nice cars when still under warranty, when it's over expect for ck engine lites, airbag lites, worn ball joints and tie rods if u drive them hard, cat. converter rattling etc, etc
thats our bimmer expirience on 7 years of ownership. will be definitely not a repeat cust. so far both of our toyotas are flawless in dependability and hoping
