Thanks for jacking the thread........ I was looking for numbers that some of these top cars put down compared to what they are rated at.......
And also there is no way the s60r is NOT even close to 3300 lbs..... try about 3700.!

By the way, here's an interesting WHP thread from a BMW site:

I drove the S60R at an autoX style event when Volvo promoted the car. The car was quick and refined, but it lacks the road feel.
BTW, I heard the CTS-V's were dynoed at 310-320 rwhp.

IDK about that S60R, man. Ill take the new SRT 300C if were talking fast luxo cars. Same price. 425 hp and much better looking.
BTW CTS-Vs should put down similar numbers to the old C5 zo6/C6 base. Similar power/dtrain. Prolly in the neighborhood of 330-340 whp.

I think the 300C looks like crap. In 5 years we'll all be looking at it and laughing at how people thought it was so great. The S60R is awd and really handles. Chrysler's approach in slamming a hemi in everything is shrewd but time will tell if that overweight hunk of metal is any good on a road course.
