Coming from Evo owners, I find that a bit ironic, but that's what I've heard the most.
You are entitled to your opinion, even if it is wrong. A used 17 year old Turbo Regal in good, not excellent condition is selling for over $15,000 now-a-days. Introducing a new twin turbo V6 Regal to the Buick fanatics of the world in a package that looks as good as that picture for $38,000 would sell.
I guess you would have to involved in the Buick performance world to understand the passion and money that there is in it before you could make your statement.

Maybe you are all forgetting that the RWD Inline Twin Turbo'd V6's are the car of choice for tuning on the drag (Supras.) Supras and 300zx's are monsters on the highway and the capability of a well built inline 6 is phenominal (Mike Carlin 950 horsepower on stock internals with his Supra.) However all of those cars have to get up to speed to enjoy them (traction.) So Imagine not a 3.0 Liter inline 6, but a 3.8 liter inline 6... and it wouldn't have to get up to speed to be fun, it would have AWD. It would be basically an American Made Skyline... with the capabilities of hitting above 600 and up horsepower with a big single turbo... for around 5 grand. If developed right the handling would potentially be close to an evo...... although u may need a set of coilovers
If this car WAS made, and there was an aftermarket for it... This thing would be a monster. The American Skyline... and I so wish they would make this

It's hard to believe this topic is even open since we are argueing over a car that does not and will not exist.
A Corvette isn't even remotely close to the same.

I think the Goat looks clean and smooth, like it should. The problem with it is it is too clean and smooth, almost bland. The hood scoops helped that, but only when they come out with the Judge will it really be a GTO.
Oh, man... the one name that would make me seriously consider giving up the Evo.... Grand National X. This really is too good to be true. I can't believe GM would really make this car with the turbo'd V6. I would believe it more likely to see GM use the V8 from the existing GTO rather that insert the 6 and just give the car a different look. If they do, however....
I guess I'll have to add another garage stall to the house!

I was to lazy to put the wink in, but of course I was being an a$$.
