New Nissan Hatch
New Nissan Hatch
I was reading the brand new Sport Compact and it had something in there about a new Nissan Hatch, a GTi like car... looked pretty sweet and there was talk about 225hp, best looking hatch I have ever seen I wish I had pics. Does anyone know anything about it? release? pricing? anything? it is indeed over in europe now and that was mentioned, I am just wondering what kind of new sport compacts, forced induction... etc etc, not EVO caliber but something with a lot of bang for the buck, similar stock power to an SRT? under $26,000? I wonder what the future has in store but this Nissan if it's the real deal would definately pull me in its direction.
Is it going to be like the GTi-R or are they giving it "geto" *** FWD like everything else. The SRT will probably be better than it. The Cobalt SS is close to the SRT-4 and has "better handling." I wouldn't tell you anything yet as the Cobalt SS is pretty damn new. The Ion Redline is the exact same thing except with plastic body panels, slightly taller gearing, and cheap *** interior with center console mounted speedometer.
I think this is what you're talking about:
and here's the release

I wonder what the pricing will be like, I don't like the idea of 20's on a supposed GTi like performance car, 18's at most. I would expect it to be low 20k's. I like the idea of standard recaros. If only there was something to compete bang for buck wise with an SRT-4... or a replacement to it.
