Up until 1995 Isuzu's base model pickups had a 2.3L carbureted 4cyl as the base engine. The optional engine was a fuel injected 2.6L 4 Cyl. Spacecabs could be had with a fuel injected 3.1 V6. Isuzu was the last manufacturer in the states to offer carbureted engines, which stopped in 1996 with the Isuzu Hombre the Chevy S-10 clone.

yeah having a daily driver is great, I just wish I got better MPG. I am only getting about 20mpg right now with the truck, which is about the same as the Evo.

That's a very nice DD.
If I had the money to buy one, and the time to spend on this forum seeking other people's approval, I would probably have the same thing.
Since I have neither of the above - I drive my Evo daily, and love it.

Congrats on the nice, cheap truck though.
