2003, 2004 Cobra.

I was wondering what I could expect to pay for a used lower mileage 20-30k ish 2003 or 2004 SVT Cobra about this time next spring. These cars are so nasty and I understand the practicality issues they are just a mean MEAN stock cars. Anyone have any opinions on the cars?

I'd think for an 04 in good condition (it's only a year old) it would be in the high 20s, 03s would probably be mid 20s.

The car is pure evil but it would have to be low 20k's to justify how much more cash is dished out in other areas than an STi or EVO, insurance, gas, the $1000 extra for the winter beater.

You should check out Kelley's Blue Book or Edmunds to see what they should be going for.

kbb.com is good, but try autotrader.com some areas have higher/lower expectations for cars.

my area is dominated by mustangs and camero's, so they go for a little higher than kbb.

Cobra's are nice. I would drive one stock OR modified. Dropping $2-3,000 in mods and sitting between 450-500rwhp is nice too.

Insanely fast cars. Not the best handlers, but the best for that generation of Mustang. Problems? Killer insurance and the usual fox body chassis issues that creep up in rattles, buzzes, etc. over time. I like them beter than the new stang for the moment.
