What engine was in your car originally? G93 1.8L? Best of luck and let us know if you need anything

I wonder if that 4G93 block is still sitting at my uncle's house? Might be at the junkyard already...

I hope if/when he does the swap he at least puts on an aftermarket exhaust. If you need stock Lancer parts just holler. I have some stuff lying around and I know other people do too.

Do you plan on boosing (I presume you are)? What's the advantage of a G94 over a G93? The G93s are able to take more boost, are making more power because of it and the parts are more readily available.... right? I could be way off base here, but I'm just curious.

What are you (y'all) using for engine management for these turbo Lancer's? I'd imagine to get he most life out of something over 7psi you are going to need a standalone. I know that is awfully expensive, but yield better results then just an S-AFC.

The 94 has a lot better lower end, has a much higher torque capability, and the boosting secret is a decompression gasket lowering compression to 9.1 and only useing 7-9 psi, 7 on regular basis and 9 psi on show off times.

Ok, that's why I thought you'd be looking at a G94. Streetable and yet, trackable. Good times
