Love the new Z06, I checked it out at the auto show.. it has like 20 brake pads or something, lol.. and one powerfull engine. I like the corvette, even though it is american made. It is one of the only good american made sports cars.. dodge doesn't count, those rust out and break down. The ford gt40 remake is nice, along with saleen mustangs, my buddy has one. (2003) They make the new mustangs like crap though.. eww. (except saleen).

I think the Z06 has the possibility to bring the sort of bang for your buck potential that the evo brought to the 30k price range to the 60 price range. Its one hell of a bang.....

Low 12s? I'm thinking mid to high 11s. I also believe it can run sub 3.5 Second 0-60 times. Some test mules have already been tested and the trap speed was over 120MPH (in bad track conditions).

I totally agree. I think that this car will be competitive or better than performace cars that cost double what GM will charge for the Z06. It would still be fair to charge $80K. I rather pay it for the Z06 than the Viper. And it will give Porsche and Ferrari a run for the money.

I'd rather not work on the factory line-- far better jobs out there!

I don't know, the assembley line jobs pay quite well these days. So much for job security though.
