No way Chevy will sell at msrp.I'll bet at least $80,000.Ford dealers want well over $220,000 for the Ford GT.All dealers try to rip people off on specialty cars.Evo's,sti's,c6 vette's ect.Watch and see.

I'm holding out for the R35 GT-R. 911 turbo like performance for half the price.

Z06 is awesome as well though. To bad it's American made.

Do you think I'd be able to get the GM "You pay what we pay" employee discount on the new Z06?

I get GMS pricing due to the fact my dad works for GM. However, it basically doesn't apply in this case. The dealer can deny it if they believe they can make money off the car by selling it to an MSRP (or more) paying customer.

Vetts are not part of the pay what we pay. It's in the fine print of ads we do.

That kind of confuses me. Does that mean that actual GM employees don't get a discount, so no one gets it? Or does that mean the GM employees do indeed get them at invoice, but that's the one car that is simply not included in the promotion?

It's not part of the promotion for everyone else AND it's up to the dealer if they want to honor the GMS price for employees. Once the car is in the dealers hands (which you have to go through, even for employees), it's up to them on what to do with it.

What does that have to do with anything?
