few pics of new eclipse
if we still had the "vomit" smiley, i would be using it A LOT right now. If you ask me, Mitsu is doing good things with the Evo but the rest of their cars are all going to hell. Lets see what those morons try to pull with the Evo X.
imo, its not a bad looking car nor is it something i would want to own. performance wise it seems like they stepped it up a bit and the interior is pretty decent as opposed to the 3rd gen. the exterior could use some work in my opinion.

Im still trying to figure out what happen. The 1st and 2nd gen were great. It started going downhill with 3rd gen. Why do they keep getting bigger and fatter? Oh and uglier, I cant get over the the mirrors being on the doors. I hate that, thats so early 90's domestic cars. Just ugly.
I still can't get over the cost.. the one i checked out at our local dealership was $28k. Why wouldn't you just buy an evo??? Is there something signigicantly better about the eclipse that i'm missing that makes it worth the same as the evo?
They made it look awesome at the 2k3 International Auto Show when it was the Eclipse Concept-E with the 480hp.. (280hp mivec v6 + 200hp rear electric motor after 50mph) It had the exhaust come out the rear side skirt.. nice 19'' rims that were the coolest I've ever seen on a mitsu, awesome interior, better "body kit". It was one of the main attractions at the Detroit show.. so many people were crowded around it I could barely get pix.

^--grr what happened to that style.. it looks way different to me than what is in the showrooms now.

Many cars and trucks exhibit the trend of slowly expanding and getting heavier over their lifetimes, so they can offer additional interior room and amenities, to keep pace with competitors. It's sad, because performance is usually degraded.
