What would you rather have: Evo or Skyline GTR?
i would go with a skyline ONLY because the AWD is adjustable. as far as prices go, u can get a used 91-94 R32 skyline (the lightest & fastest new gen) for the price of a new evo. www.motorex.net, www.motorex.com. the R33 has the strongest aftermarket following, & the R34 has the most weight. Now if we could only get our hands on a NISMO 400R...

I think I'll go with the EVO... just my 2 cents though.

Ok guys I've thought about this on many occasions. If I had a choice to take either car, then yeah I'd take the skyline gtr-34 vspecII anyday HOWEVER. If you want to get your skyline in the US and take it over 1000hp + you need probably 110,000 - 120,000 (including the price of the car) conservatively. If you give me 120,000 to dump into m ]y evo which i bought for around 24k I can garauntee that the 1000 hp skyline will have a hard time keeping up to that evo assuming I know what im doing tuning wise and part selection.
Now that i think about it I want both.

I'd be willing to make a bet that if they GTR were readily available in North America, priced equivilantly to what they were in Japan, that this pole would be much more even. It's the whole "covet that which you can't get" syndrome.
what kind of question is this? having a car fewer than 200 people have in the states, is well a novelty and its performance potential is amazing. SKYLINE GT-R all teh way... has to be a GTR34 though. otherwise its not worth it.
