If you dont mind, what is involved in becoming a porsche technician? What schooling and such did you go through.

Not sure on the enzo.. ive only seen 3 of them here.. two reds and a black...
Ugo Columbo owned the black one but later sold it for around 1.3 mil. I believe.
Quite a few Carerra GT's though. 10-12, mostly silver or black but we did sell a yellow one. For 2005 you can get them in any color you want , Porsche will paint it that color. But for almost half a million, why not.
I have a few pictures of a Carrera GT torn down with the engine and trans. out of it but they are not digital pictures, I would have to scan them. Pictures were from a clutch replacement,... Carbon/ceramic multi plate clutch is supposed to last the life of the car , client managed to end its life with just a little over 200 miles on the car... ended up costing around 33,000 to replace, not sure if he paid out of pocket or his insurance covered some of it.

 

Most porsche technicians come through Porsches P.T.A.P training program, I attended the University of Northwestern Ohio's Automotive program and High performance program, later went on to work for a NASCAR and ARCA race team as a mechanic and Fueler before eventually coming to work with a Porsche dealer in Michigan and then transfering to Miami. All my Porsche schooling came through their Porsche training in Atlanta.

Thanks for the information. I went to Automotive Training Center, a school like UTI. Just trying to find the path to work with amazing cars.
