Yup, factory warranty, and that much power. But then again, I ask myself "would I actually take my $100k corvette z06 to my dealership for warranty work where a 19 year old kid can't even put the right oil filter on it?" Just imagine them trying to fix a supercharger.
edit: my dad has some horrible chevy mechanic stories from out local dealerships. (yes 4 surrounding dealers). We were towing our trailer back from up north, 400 miles away, and the transmission just pretty much shot the gears right out the back about 300 miles away from home. There was no passing gear, or highway speed gear left. We had to drive it home, we had no other choice. Towing our 30ft trailer, we were at 4500 rpm's at 55mph on the highway with trans fluid all over the front of the trailer. We took it in for warranty work when we got home. The truck was brand new (less than a year). They told us they replaced the transmission and they didn't actually do it. We took off out of the parking lot and the JB weld they used to cover the holes where the gears shot out just started spewing out again. Then we took it back again, they put more JB weld on it, with the gears still missing, and grinding/slipping. Then they actually showed us the box the *new* transmission was in and they opened it up to prove it. They said they would be putting it on for us all free of charge. So my dad took his truck and scribed the bolts on the trans to see if they were actually going to be turned, showing signs of them taking it off. They said they were done a few days later, and the trans had more JB weld on it, and the bolts were never moved. Finally after almost beating up the dealer manager and talking with corporate, they sent someone out who actually knew how to do a transmission. They replaced it, and we traded the truck back into them for more than we paid for it. (don't ask how, but we actually ripped off the dealer, lol.) Then we traded it for a new truck, which we still have now and works fine. (its a 2001 6.0 v8 2500 4x4).
I hate dealerships..

The 500 HP 3200 lb C6 Z06 is going to be in the 60s to low 70s... this is a different car.

The dealers may not be the best at servicing the car... but they'll fix it for little or no cost to you. If you go to Lingenfelter et al and get 700 HP out of your C6, you have no warranty and any repairs come out of your pocket. It's a tradeoff.

If all you were doing was drag racing, that'd be a good route. The downside is that your inevitible drivetrain repairs are also coming out of your pocket.

Blue Devil? what Blue devil...you mean the Blue C6 Z06 that was photographed at the Ring turning a 7:40 lap time? A 7:40 time fits with a 500 hp 3100# C6 Z06...it doesn't fit for a 600 hp 2900# Blue devil.

You think this will be part of the GM employee pricing program? Just kidding.

Just need to be patient and in a few years when they have lost well over half their original value it will be time to get one.
