well if it is an rx-7 turbo awesome!!!! if its an rx-8 aww its an ok car iguess
i work at a mazda dealership so i get to drive the rx-8's, but the six speed is ok, its just a little slow for paying 27 + for a car it handals ok

RX-7's can go TT very easily, torque +, turbo +. Now if it's a RX-8 those are still nice rides just not a full fledge performance car. Still very nice.

cool car. watch your oil consumption closely. i friend of mines boyfriend just had his engine replaced because it seized. the kid never checked the oil level between oil changes. technically it wasnt his fault since he was following mazda's maintanence schedual, so it was replaced under warranty. a good buddy of mine at school bought one two weeks ago and just hit 2k miles. it has already drank a quart

actually, early this year, i ALMOST walked home with an Evo MR from HB Mitsu. (They are the best dealership btw) Almost walked out with one for 33K. too bad Tom wasn't there, but it was an awesome dealership. Then my friend showed me this RX, and my jaws dropped. So yeah, after 6 months, i finally got my 7... yes. RX-7. FD (3rd gen rx). Yes problems can be avoided with proper care. But the RX is just my weekend car. Heh ideally, i want the EVO to be my everyday car, and the 7 to be my weekend car. They ARE elusive, the FD's. hehe
I'm still an EVO fan, love them mitsu's! i'll post pics on the next post!

how can you buy a new rx-8 but can't buy an EVo?

That's the only reason I could think of.
It'll make more sense for a guy with a family to get an Evo. back seats generous.
