finally got my new car...
Nice... I love the 3rd Gen RX-7 TTs. Would never own one (have heard too many horror stories about the reliability of them), but they look awesome and they perform well.
My cousin has an RX-8, and we put it on the dyno this last weekend. It made somewhere around 159 hp and like 138 torque, lol.... Mazda TOTALLY overrated the car. We've had a turbo Mazdaspeed Miata on the same dyno and it made only a little less and is ranked at 178 hp. I think they rank the 6-speed RX-8 (which is what we dyno'd) like 238 hp or something. In my mind it should be more like 200 tops. The car is pretty slow in addition to that. It couldn't stay anywhere near my Evo with just a few mods

I think the Rx7TT is a great looking car. I owned one for a year and a half and liked the way it handled, but it had a continuous stream of problems. I worked on it more then I drove although it didn't cost me any money as I sold it for more then I paid for it. I hope you have better luck then I did with mine.

I heard there are some mods that you can do to make the RX-7 more reliable.
There was a 93 RX-7 with less than 15k miles at a dealer near my house about 2 months ago. It looked so sexy and I wanted it badly, so I did some research about the car. Finally decided to keep the Evo since there aren't any rotary specialist shops around here.
Still, nice car you have there. Enjoy!
