I think the "hood" is kind of funky on the Elise with those big holes in it. At least it looks odd when you're walking up on one from behind, the ducts in those holes give the illusion of big "flat spots" in the hood. They're very tiny too, I felt like I was towering over it just standing on the sidewalk beside it. But I would definitely love to have one, they're supposed to be insanely fun to drive and are wonderful track cars.

One of my friends in the UK went with some of our coworkers on a big road trip around Europe in a few Elises along with a few support vans full of parts. They hit some tracks and lots of twisty backroads around the mountains and coutryside driving the hell out of the cars all the way. Must have been fun.

I've attached a pic of my friend driving a red one on a track. Nice license plate!

I thought that was the Motorports Elise or Exige. Or is that a different car?

While that car may be fast, its much too small for my liking. Also, an SUV would absolutely VAPORIZE that thing in an accident. I'll avoid the anorexic cars, and stick with something over 2000lbs, thank you.

Theres no replacement for displacement. SR20 > CA18. Its also one of the most grotesquely over built 4 cyclinders ever built.

You could say goodbye to the tires! You'd probably have to have monster grip or some serious traction control to have that much HP in that light of a car.
