Evo 5 RS vs 1994 NSX
Evo 5 RS vs 1994 NSX
I'll keep it short. Got an Evo 5 RS. Second fuel pump, 3 inch pipes, with Apexi N1 exhaust. Some dude in a 94 NSX says the Evo is no where near the quickness of a NSX in the quarter mile. What ya'll think?

autocar rated evo VI 0-60 in 4.4 and 0-100 in 11.2

his is an evo V which is lighter and since it's an RS it has shorter gearing which means it's quicker as well.
modded, I'd say he'd rape that NSX
all comes down to the launch and driver, but the modded evo, vs the nsx, I'd say evo

stoplight racing, sure you can take a NSX out...but on a roll, depending on the NSX mods, you might want to rethink about it...I know, cause I had one before...totally a different car when the RPM's & MPH's are up there...btw, NSX ain't made for drag racing...it's more of an equally balanced car that zigzags thru corners at high speeds....
How is it possible for the NSX to have a faster 0-60 time, and a faster 0-100 time yet have a slower quarter mile time (I'm asking out of interest not so much out of this situation specifically)?
I would never take on that Vtec on a roll, hellz no! He don't want to drag though. The Evos not a drag car either, Rally bred! But that 4X4 launch aint no joke I must say! He refuses to race me dragging. That NSX handles horribly, its the first model made I think. If I still had my fully racing King on, I'd take him around the curves too!

I'm lightly modded. I have a second fuel pump, Evo 7 pistons, 3 inch pipes with an Apexi N1 exhaust at the end. Couldn't fit my Ralliart downpipe cause I installed a compressor for the AC.
