STI or EVO ?
STI or EVO ?
Ok so iam not new to the Import scene and what not i use to have a 03 Tarmac EVO 8 Modded and what not but i had to get ride of it ...long story but now iam back in the market for a EVO or STI...I loved the EVO and my friend has a STI and there both great cars....Its a really hard decison i love the EVO but i kinda wanted to try something new... Do u guys have ne suggestions ? Thanks
Here we go again!!!! I'm so sick of that topic!!!!
Decide for yourself - there are comparison articles everywhere. They all seem to like the Evo better - better handling, more fun to drive.
This an EVO board so of course everyone is going to say EVO! No wait, they might like the SRT-4 better than both of the cars!
"Seems like the general consensus from the press is that the Evo is the better sports car, the STI the better daily driver."
EVO wins, everytime!!!! Read up!!!!!

I have no problem with this question in general, but you couldn't come to a more biased source for the answer. Even if an Sti were a better car, no one on an evo website is going to say that it is. The only reason 90% of people on evom even read the other cars posts are so they can see how each car fails in comparison to the evo.

i chose the sti b/c i felt that the company was more stable than mitsu- im not sure what the future holds for the company. doesnt matter if they offer a 10yr warranty if the car will have to be serviced by non-mitsu dealers... and no car company will ever admit that they're about to pull out-it will happen quite suddenly. i've been happy with the sti, but yes, without considering company futures, the evo is probably a better buy.
