I've heard the rumor, but i don't believe it. If Acura/Honda ever brought the Type R over to the US, it would be a bad idea. Due to all the extras that the type r has and the type s doesn't, (brembos, recaros, in dash navi/dvd, diff. rims etc..) it would cost quite a bit more. I would think that it would be in the $28,000+ range, and for the money, people could start looking at cars in a completely different class, for instance an Evo or STi, a G35 or 350z, the performance/looks are not up to par with the higher $$ range vehicles that you could compare the Type R to. Plus i've also heard that 2006 is the last year for the RSX, it's either going to get canned or re-designed for a 2008 model. Just my .02

Nope.Never.Not Happening.Not a Chance in Hell.Don't Believe the Hype.

The close you'll get to the ITR is the o5-o6 RSX-s. Also, the rsx-s is not being killed off, details show that it'll be back in o7 redone all over and more upscale classier (were it should be).

Yeah but they don't sell the Integra anymore, it was replaced by the RSX.
