I saw a commercial on the new Nissan Maxima. It's the one where the guys asks the girl"Is this your car?" And puts his hand on it. Then he has a vision of him driving it. A take-off of the show "Dead Zone" if anyone is familiar. When he is driving it, I can hear faint sounds of a turbo hissing and when he shifts, I swear I hear a blow off vavle going off. It sounds similiar to the Skyline in 2Fast 2Furious.

 

yeah I know, wondering the exact same thing. I dont believe its turbocharged though

 

Its probably a cold air intake. My friend has one on his maxima and it hisses like a blow off valve.

 

those engine noises in the commercial aren't from a maxima. They're something else dubbed in. they do it it comercials, tv and movies all the time.

 

i thought it was turbocharged also, i was like WTF?

 

so I wasn't the only one that heard it.

OT..but have you seen the new Z commerical? It's awesome. I want the red Nismo Z so bad.

the sounds for the Maxima commericial are form a Skyline.

 

I put a intake on my wifes Maxima and it also sounds like a BOV.

 

well it was a dream sequence so he clearly must have dreamed of dropping an RB in there... duh

 

Hahaha, What a cheesy commercial that is. They should be sued for false advertising.
