What?!?!?!??!Played out maybe, but soccer mom's car!??!?! Ummmm no!!
More like hot 19-21 year old daddy's little girl car!
either car has the ability to be fast... but for the g35 ur gona have to get a twin turbo or supercharger... which is like 5k just for parts... probably 1-2 thousand dollars labor... then u have to get it tuned... then u have to work on suspention... good luck
I think that I can offer a pretty good opinion here.
I sold my modified SRT-4 in August (304.4whp, 309.3wtq). It was a great car, but I really started to hate the front wheel drive, especially once I started going to the track almost every weekend.
I had always been in love with the G35 coupes, so I am leasing a black 2005 6MT coupe with every option. It's a great all-around car. It's got decent power, is very comfortable, and handles very well for being a 3,500+ pound boat. It also gets alot of attention from the ladies.
After about two weeks with the G35, I started having speed withdrawels. The G35 can be driven fast, but it severly lacks the "attitude" that the SRT had. It's just too smooth and civilized for me. I get really bored driving it, and don't really care about 18 year old girls checking out my car.
I have gotten bored enough with the car that I went out and purchased a sport bike to give me my speed "fix", but it's only a temporary fix.
I am going to finish out my lease and purchase an Evo. I really regret getting the G35 instead of the Evo. To me, nothing beats the sounds and feel of a tight handling turbo car. Call me nuts, but I would rather be driving my old SRT-4 instead of my G35

I think I might take you up on that advice since you can relate. AND because mike let me drive his car so I got sucked back in to the Evo again. Ahhh what a wonderful feeling it is lol

I test drove both the 2006 Infiniti G35 Coupe 6 Speed and the Mitsubishi Evolution 9 MR. As most would say they are completely different cars. I too was interested in the Infiniti but after seeing the new spoiler, I decided that the Infiniti was not for me. It is a nice looking car but something about it looks strange. The metal used on Infiniti's and Nissan's sounds like tin. The Evo 9 MR felt faster and handled much better. AWD and 4 doors are also more practical. My only dilema is that I have to lease my next vehicle and as some may know, the Evo is not a good car to lease. The payments are around 820 per month with no money down, 15K miles per year. For that price I may decide to lease an Audi S4 sedan if I can find a 2005 (not with the new grill) or if they can't find one then maybe a black B7 S4. If one cannot still be located, then I will get the evo. One of the 10 fastest sedans sold in the united states. My only problem with the evo is mitsubishi service department which is horrible. Decisions are hard when you want both cars but ultimately, only one will end up in your driveway. 4 door performace with awd or 2 door luxury performance with rear wheel drive. I say get the evo.
