Opted out G35 coupe or IX MR??
Alright now if you guys had a choice which would it be. Of course the G35 would be the 6speed manual with the 19" wheels, suspension package, premium package, and a bunch of other little options here and there, I mean LOADED. I was pretty set on the IX MR (which is the reason for the screen name), but I always loved the G35. As you can see I have had a HEAVILY modded car before and love them especially the Evo. I have always loved the raw performance, and handling of an Evo ever since they came here. To put it in simpler terms, I LOVE BOTH CARS and can't decide between either. I love the evo but then think to myself if I want a loud car again (because I will mod it like crazy), which I don't, and if I feel like getting pulled over all the time (which happens here because cops LOVE to harass, especially when you're 18 driving a car like this), or fear of getting pulled over at the slightest sign of a cop. But I know every moment in this car I will love. Then when I picture myself in a G35 which is my other option, I see myself getting bored with the car, and maybe regretting it (because one of my friends has an evo) everytime I ride in his or get smoked by him. But I also think about all the good things it has going for it like the leather, not worrying about the cops, nice sound system you know. I know they are two COMPLETELY different cars, but I'm torn between these two and can't decide on whether if I want performance, or sporty luxury because they both have they're pros and cons. What would be the car you guys would pick if you had a choice or had to do over (please be honest). Really the only thing that scares me away from the evo is the fact that alot of people have problems with them and reliability issues. Other than that I absolutely love everything about it.
... there has been so many threads. Dude ur answering ur own question, if ur goin from a srt-4 to an g35, the g35 would require mass money for a speed freak like u cause i am one too
. Anywayz the evo u get it, it comes well off the factory. Put in a few mods here and there a mbc, tbe, and etc. Like maybe a 1k, ull get like 100 hp easy. If i were u evo without a doubt, though be careful and treat it right. Go to the right places for modifications and tuning.
The cops harassing u... its normal if they see a high wing on a car. Just take it easy, when ur in the clear .. hey why not ?
Though ur 18, so many of the members here wouldnt recommend u in gettin an evo but u have some experience, i can see ur drivin a srt-4.
Evo without a doubt... the g35 is played out and is a soccer's mom car.

Thanks guys. I'm starting to think maybe my first instinct was the right one now
. I have plenty experience to drive the Evo after the SRT (SRT had LOTS of mods) though so that won't be a problem. Oh and stitch, yeah I have thought about that. Actually I was looking into getting a IX with the SSL package before I decided on the MR. I just felt that for about 1500-1800 I might as well go all out lol.

I've driven an Evo (although a gsr) already and fell in love with it. Please I didn't even need a test drive to get hooked on the Evo lol. But I think I'm going to check out the G35 tommorrow and get a test drive with pops. That should be the real decision breaker hopefully. If not, then I'll leave the decision-making up to my dad. Two-mix it's not that I can't stand loud cars, it's just that I don't feel like being harassed anymore you know. I don't want to go back to that feeling where everytime you see a cop you're like oh ****, and bust as many turns as possible because you know they're following you.
Here is my .02 the cost is similiar and I'll put my flame suit on for my next comments, but please keep in mind that I own a 05' EVO.
Comfort G35
Luxury G35
Quiet G35
Highway G35
Gadgets G35
Space G35
Styling G35
Reliability G35
Speed EVO
Handling EVO
Modability EVO
Braking EVO
One car is quiet, fun, luxurous, most woman will like the G35 much more, it's a great car and for most people it's more than fast enough and handles well enough too.
I bought a EVO because I'm pretty fanatical about the 4g63 and AWD, but a stock EVO feels slow to me and I've only owned it 10 days, so if you think more along those lines maybe a EVO is for you.
Pick your poison? and good luck to me it sounds like the G35 would be a much better fit for you.
