Viper world record Video!!!!!!!!!!
A car that fast almost takes all of the fun out of though. This is going to sound a little ricey, but driving a turbo 4 banger was alot more fun when the V-8 and now V-10 guys just used nitrous and/or a supercharger.
Now everyone is putting a turbo on there car!!

Remember....the Viper isnt using nitrous either. Shep does.
This is the displacement difference. Shep's car as awesome as it is runs on 100% methanol!! No A/C no intercooler strictly track car only and even though the engine has held the trannies, as great as they are, have not.
The viper on the other can be driven every day on a pump gas tune which still puts down over 900rwhp. You do have to deal with the big super cage, so it's not to streetable to me. Like I've said before if you want a 9 second pump gas car you need displacement pick you poison....Cobra, Vette, Camaro, Viper, but you need displacement. There are many examples on various forums. Terry, who just laid the smack down on multiple single turbo supras back in August is going TT and Sam@coastal performance expects 800rwhp on pump and 1200-1300rwhp on race gas@30psi. His car before ran 10.4@141mph on 18'' drag radials. I need to stop I'm getting depressed again.
Much more fun when only the imports were using turbos IMO>

That's where the challenge should lie. Can any "tuner" out there make "buko" horsepower but keeping it smog legal...............I doubt it.

Hell, I'd say more than half the EVO's on this forum isn't smog leagal being we mostly run test pipes. The cage in his car was made to take family members in the car as well. The side bars are removeable to make it easy to get in and out from.
It'd be cool to see a video on the street of this guy racing Cody Philips, or Ryan Woon in their supras. They are the two fastest 6-speed supras in the world, both over 1200whp. I don't think Ryan has ever been beat on the streets. Something like this would be a riot to see lined up against one of those two.
those supras would get owned...
at the end of the day a street race(top end wise) would be in favour of displacement
but then again..that depends on what speed they would take it up to..lol
or how long the street is!
it's so unfair though... 8.3 litres of displacement...those sized engines belong in a truck!
