The difference isn't so much the time as the method. Shep rules and his tranny work rules too, but limits are limits and the DSM trannies do fail. Shep's car is methanol, full race, no intercooler etc etc. The viper has all accessories and a big cage that's it. It has a pump gas map and a race gas map.
Nothing against any car, but in the end displacement has huge advantages especially in pump gas. Good luck owning DSM's/EVO's for the rest of you're life since you are so dedicated. You do know that the 4g63 dies after the EVO 9, right?
I love EVO's and own a 05', but have also owned 5 dsms, a FD, two mustangs, and will own more sports cars besides the EVO too. Don't be so narrow minded that viper is on a whole othe playing field.

Bought my talon new in 1990 ,, had my talon 15yrs.. Bought an evo in march 03' had it two yrs .. Bought the viper and put some turbo's on it..
Twin gt35r's pump gas, 700whp 800ft lbs of torque @ 8psi of boost... Stock clutch and stock fuel pump .. i'll take that anyday ..over a dsm .. sorry ..
