I would have to agree.... We have a 1996 993-turbo for 72k for sale right now... only 24,000 miles on it.... although it wont handle as well as the cayman it will do a 12 second quarter and give you quite a unique driving experience compared to the cayman....... like they say.... " you dont drive a 993 turbo.... you aim it"
