Ever realize you made a mistake...?

I sure as hell wish now, that I would have kept my Evo...

I sold her cause of my son being born, and the car was not a good family hauler...

I could have kept it and kept the beater Jetta I had, but I decided to sell the Evo to get another nice daily driver...

I miss her so...

But I will be in line when the Evo X arrives, and I'll be back in the good ole world of high HP, AWD turbo goodness...

Let's reminisce...

and here is my current ride...

not near as much fun as the Evo was, but leaps better as far as interior design, fit and finish, luxury and comfort...

why does everyone think that their evos (this goes for srts and subys too) make awful family haulers. it has 4 doors and can be VERY civil if drivin nice. plus, they are one of teh safest cars out there (maybe not in an accident, but its very nimble to help avoid them). i dont know, but i do know that im not selling my sartie when my girl and i get married and have a family

It's not even in the same class really... I know, i had the Evo for over a year, and as a dialy driver the car stinks...

in town driving with a stick with no power in the bottom half of the rev range is not what i would call a good family car...

opinions are like *******s though...

Nice to see you still on here and I miss those pictures, so nice. Glad to see you're still browsing around and still got the EVO on your mind

lol i shift my evo at like 3.5k rpm and its daily driven. 2 months with nearly 4k on it! bought it with 60 miles. honestly it took time getting used to it...the smaller armrest compartment, vanelty mirrors and glove box but when u drive it...u just become careless of those things

good luck in getting the evo x man. keep it in the family and give it to ur kid when hes old enough to drive as a hot rod

I've had numerous friends feel that they needed to give up their cars because of children. Can we assume that they were coerced into this, especially when the large SUV or mini-van shows up in the driveway?

My 22 month old son LOVES the EVO. He calls it "Daddy's Ka" but sometimes he'll even call it the "EBO."

We usually take the Mazda 6 *******' Wagon due to the fact the wife is scared to drive a manual...but when we do take the EVO, I put his car seat in the middle rear - and with the Kenwood 911DVD head unit, he can watch is Baby Einstein videos while we drive.

Rarely, but sometimes I accelerated briskly, and he'll go "WHOOOOAAAA, VROOOOM"

Always makes me smile.

I'm also teaching him to turn wrenches:

I made the decision on my own merit... cause i didn't like the fact that the car was so loud and rough riding... TH Cusco Zero 2R's did not help the cause at all...

From the Evo, I went to an Passat to an S4 to a Magnum, and now onto the GLI...

I wouldn't mind having your current ride but I would miss my EVO too much as well. I remember way back when you posted pics of your black EVO on the 3gen eclipse site when I had my 3gen. I thought that it was the one of sexiest car ever, it was one of the many reasons why I traded to the EVO! Thanks.
