Ever relaize you made a mistake...?
I have a mini-van & the Evo (and a beater truck which is used when the Evo is waiting on parts). From time to time, we load our two boys into the rear seats. The car seats fit great in there. Now, I'm not saying I would want to drive from Phoenix to Cali, but to just scoot around town, the Evo works great!
My three yr old told me the other day that he likes with I go fast. The Evo is his favorite!

so you have no power until 3500 rpm, you have something wrong then..

in town driving with a stick with no power in the bottom half of the rev range is not what i would call a good family car...

not sure if i follow you, but if you are trying to say that the Evo has adequate power off boost, you're full of it...
my GLI has adequate power down low due to the fact that it's tuned for gobs of low end torque... the Evo did / was not...

Diesel, back from the dead.
Glad to see everything is going well at least, aside from missing the evo. Good luck with everything and bless us with some more incredible pics as soon as you get a new evo to photograph

From the Evo, I went to an Passat to an S4 to a Magnum, and now onto the GLI...

Damn you've had ALOT of cars in the time you got rid of your car. Sounds to me you are searching for soemthing to meet your performance needs and end up making the wrong purchase.
I don't see how you can trade or sell that many cars you've had. You've only been without your EVO for what...1.5 years?
My wife would kill me if I did that.

Sad to see you parted with such a beautiful car.

Good luck with the X tho.
Diesel - I feel some of your pain bro. I'm on the verge of having to sell no matter what. It's the LAST thing I want to do...but life is picking otherwise for me. You're one of the old original members around here that got the first of the Evo's...we all remember you! I can't imagine being with out my Evo...but I may just have to do that.
It's always good to see you still around man...you had one of the better looking Blacks out there IMHO.

Go test drive a IX and you will see what I'm talking about. It's just better at the start of the power band.
