Thanks all. The break in is almost done. I took the car for a drive today. I must say, I am starting to lose the remorse. Knowing that since my wife popped out a small army of kids means that we will get back a ton for taxes so I can put a ton towards it then.

It is a solid car and I love it. Was just whiney last night! Thanks everyone.

Talk about buyers remorse. I have the same problem. I am one of those "suckers" the salesman sees comming from a mile away. I totally blow at negotiating and should never have even went to the damn dealship in the first place. I don't know exactly why I wanted to trade my 04' STi in on a 06' EVO MR, but I did and now I have to live with the a#$ rapping I recived.
I had 24 thousand and some change to finish paying off my STi - the dealer only gave me 22. I was left with roughly 2 grand tacked onto the price of the MR. The sticker on the MR was 36,299 and the dealer marked it up to 41,889. The salesman assured me he would get my monthly payments where I wanted them and I was buying into it hook, line, and sinker. I told him to tell me the final price I was paying for the car - but he would never tell me. All he kept saying was that the monthly payments were where I wanted and I was approved for 5.9% financing. All in all my unpaid balance on the car out the door was 44,164.08. I now have a 649 dollar a month payment for the next 7 years. I left the dealer feeling I got screwed a little untill I came home, registered on this forum and read what people are paying for new MR's. I almost had severe heart failure when I read that people were picking up MR's for 36 - 37 grand. I did'nt just get screwed a little - I got screwed big time.
If anyone in Washington state lives in the Oak Harbor/Burlington area, don't go to Karmart Mitsubishi. These people are some of the most shrewd, no-moral sons a b!@#$%$ I ever dealt with. Buyers remorse - I have it in spades. I was totally happy with my STi and it would have been paid off in 08'. Now I have a car note for the next 7 years. I guess I can't complain to much - I did it to myself. I should have just walked in with "sucker" stamped on my forehead. This MR better be all the car that the magazines hyped it up to be. I love it so far. The MR has a way bigger interior/trunk, better build quality/paint, and has the tried and true 4G63 engine. I have no regrets except the price. I'm getting a roommate in a few month and that will allow me to up the payments each month by 100 bucks. Hopefully that will allow me to pay off this beast in less than 7 years.
