I've read that a supercharged version is in the works and that it should be coming out in 6 months or so. Patience.

In a current issue of Car & Driver, some US tuner is offering versions of the actual Solstice with the LS2 with 400 hp for around $50K. A/C and others run the cost up significantly. They also offer versions with a supercharged LS2 as well as the C6 Z06 engine as well. Obviously this is well out of the price range of the Evo but it is on par with the new Z06 in terms of quarter mile times.

Did you really just post that on an Evo forum, in the GENERAL EVO area?

There is a GXP version coming out with 260 horsepower (it's turbocharged). I saw it at the auto show.

that car is supposed to rival the miata, so who knows. Is the Soltice sharing the same platform as the Saturn Sky? The Sky is actually using the Lotus Elise chassis, from what I hear (that's what a friend told me). If all this is true, all those cars have a great potential chassis wise, but I don't know anything about the engine that is in the Solstice or the Sky.

Yeah, they will, but even car magazines these days are behind the times because by the time they've gotten something to print, it's been on the internet for a while. The beauty of the digital age.
