lol that's funny. the mazdaspeed6 isn't meant to compete with the EVO. even if it was, it couldn't. it's alot slower, and can't keep up with the handling. it's made to compete with other sporty sedans, not an all out sports car like the EVO. the only competition the EVO has is the same it's always had. the Subaru STi

yeah only people who will buy this car are those who only like mazdas or never heard of sti or evo, or i guess those who like to spend money on gay luxury items such as a 7 inch screen, i'd rather have more power under the hood than luxury

It has a disadvantage because it's missing the WING.

I know right!!! If it had that wing the 0-60 be like 5.9 sec and a 1/4 of 13.3 @ 105MPH. Oh well... From driving this car in Grand Turismo its PRETTY SLOW.

Oh also this is NO comparison to the evo. Handling is wack and its not that fast its like putting a 02 Audi S4 against an 03 evo.

It's not competition with the Evo/Sti - it's more the Camry/Accord set, but it's nonetheless a nice car. I've always liked the body of the current 6. I'd rather have it than the Camry, but I think I'd rather have the Accord...

thank you for finally pointing out a car suited to the same demographic as the mazdaspeed 6. These are more luxurious cars meant to be a bit more DD style than an Evo or STi. Even still, compared to a legacy GT the 6 just falls short in about every single way. It might have better performance #s but it's still a pig.
