Talking Subaru Spanker

Well I turned up in this website by accident since my cousing wants to buy a Subaru Turbo..and well I thought to myself..."why do this ppl think their stock Subarus are fast...well I looked at your stock times and said ..wow...that **** is as fast as my 1989 Oldsmobile Calais 5speed 2.3Litter Dohc 16v Quad4 and I said hhmm better tell this guys that they have competition in Souther California if I see them ...So before you judge the Spanker read the whole article and let me know what you think..I know these cars dont look as cool as yours do but I dont have much money..to afford a Subaru...I only spend $700bucks on my car and look at what I get...READ THIS PLease

With flowMasters this car sounds like a V8 on Steroids..

Best time 14.1 ......How i have it now with sound seats and everything 15.9...Weight makes a big difference

Yeah, my old '88 Gran Am had the same 2.3l Quad 4.* It's a nice little engine. Suprisingly quick for what it's worth.

Screw HP. That thin has torque. It picks up. Great car, especially for a domestic 4. In fact, I can safely say it's the best domestic 4 I've ever driven and one of the best I'm aware of.

*Which is odd because Carpoint says my car doesn't exist. It's definitely a 16v 2.3l Quad4 in the Grand Am LE Coupe stock though.

Technically it doesn't have to have anything to do with Mitsubishi. But, now that you mention it, it really doesn't have anything to do with drag racing. (See how well I pay attention?) Moving to other cars.

but who wants the honda? id still take the olds.

plus a 86 toyota MR2 has a 1.6 Liter, 16 valve, DOHC, Supercharged. Produces 145 hp.
