single turbo kits for mustangs/camaro's

Are they pretty expensive? Are they pretty rare? If anybody knows anything(or knows where to point me) I would like to know.

well the two cars your talking about dont really share many of the same tuners, it also depends what years your talking about, both cars have been produced for quite some time. there are kits available for both. im not really sure as far as mustangs go but when talking chevy cars lingenfelter is often considered top of the line. those arent cheap but produce a lot of reliable power. im sure there are reasonably priced kits for both.

What do you want to know? HP TT kits for 03-04 cobras are 8K and put down over 800rwhp. Go to modularfords.com, svtperformance.com, turbomustangs.com, ls1tech.com, corvetteforum.com, Z06vette.com etc etc.

Good luck and it's much easier to make those to makes go faster than a EVO I'll tell you that!! I speak from experience.

Just curious why you're going with a single instead of twins. Most of the single turbo Mustangs I've seen were 6's.

6's as in 6 seconds?

I haven't ruled out twin turbos, but i figgured they might be more expensive.

Single turbo kits seem like they would be cheaper, but there is more fabrication with headers, but thats why I'm asking because I don't know.

6s as in $6000, single turbokits are nasty, especially on the 03-04 cobras, i'm scared of them. modularfords.com is my favorite site for the mustangs, i highly recommend.

STS makes a great kit for the Camaro and Mustangs for around $3000 for an entry level kit. They claim 400 rwhp on a stock motor and I have seen dyno graphs from other people that support this claim. Like stated above go to ls1tech and also check out all the sponsers on the right side of the page.
