Good ridence. I couldn't see a reason to pay $150k+ for something with Ford on it. The Z06 is half the price with all the performance

The Ford Rep said at the auto show in 2004 that no one in there right mind would spend $150,000 with all of the better options out there.

Hmm, do y'all know that the Ford GT are selling for 300K-400k and being scooped up by collectors in Europe....

I liked the ford GT. It looks really nice and from what ive seen/read it handles well on a track. Sure its not as luxurious as a ferrari or lambo, but it's still a nice car.

I liked it as well.. it had such a unique look to it.. I guess this means now since there was such a limited production that the value will increase? lol.

I was at the Woodward Dream Cruise and Fort St. Cruise last summer and they (the ford dealership) brought out the Ford GT to the burn out competition.. they pulled up to the line, revved, and then just pulled off slowly.. hahaha. It sounded sooo nice. I wish they would have done a burnout though, but they hadn't even sold the car yet.

It might be fast but it is still a ford. Plus like an earlier post said the z06 is half the price all of the performance.

i wonder if all the R&D that ford put into the GT was worth it??? hrmmmm...i say nope, short run high value cars aren't my idea of huge profit, poor ford, i'll go buy a hybrid escape or something so i can support them and their new "green" slogan

That sucks, true it's Ford, but it's always sad for me to see a performance car killed off (except the SRT-4, haha). Saw a Ford GT a couple of days ago, and boy was he moving!
