Tempted...
Tempted...
I am in the market to buy a brand new 2006 EVO IX RS in March, and the wait is killing me, I'd buy it right now if I could, but waiting on a couple of things such as the pink slip for my Audi and my tax return. But was checking out Mitsubishi dealers when I cam across this, wow what a beautiful piece of machinery-
1998 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR4 (45,000 Miles)
Having previously owned a 1994 3000GT VR4, I knew this one was extensively modified. The wheels I could do with out, but not that big of deal. Fortunately it already sold, and my temptation for another car would not go any further
Either way I still would buy the IX over this car, but it felt weird to be tempted by another car.
Could this car tempt you?

I'd take my evo over any car any day of the week. Although, 3000gt vr4 are awesome cars with a lot of potential. There's nothing like whipping the evo through the curves at 45+ mphs and staying perfectly under control with minimum oversteer and understeer........

Oh yeah and don't get me wrong, 3000GT VR4 vs. EVO IX or EVO VIII, EVO all the way, no questions asked. This modified VR4 is a different story, as tempting as it was, not enough for me to jump ship, I LOVE EVOs MAN!

Both are great cars.
But if they were sitting side by side I would have to go with that particular GTO VR4. Very rare. Deffinately a keeper. But I pretty sure every one will say that about the Evo IX in 10 years.
you will only have a couple of chances in life to find that rare car i great condition if you never take advantage you'll miss out forever.
I missed my chance on a 1985 Maserati liquid cooled Bi Turbo
