Turbo Minivan Project

Hey guys,

I finally started getting all my parts in for my minivan. Its been like over 4 months since I ordered them but i started putting everything together. Here are some pics.

The turbo is a Turbonetics 50-trim with a stage 2 turbine and a .63 a/r exhaust housing. 52lb injectors and a custom exhaust manifold.

More updates to come. Leave some comments.

Andrew

I H8 minivans!! They are the evilest creation ever made by man. And dont ask why. But good luck anyway on your project.

wtf, is that motor built?? how much boost are you gonna run, if it's not built i wouldn't imagine more than a couple pounds, that turbo is gonna flow a lot of air.

i mean i can appreciate what your doing, but why not do something that is going to actually come out effective? that van is going to fall apart with that turbo strapped to it.

Yeah, honestly I think it's a waste of money, especially on a minivan instead of your lancer but to each his own. You're turboing before me so props on that.

Been there turboed that. i was actually one of the first ones to turbo the lancer. got it up to about 210whp but without serious money invested it will always be slow.

I'm sad to see none of you guys so far know about this type of van. Dodge made a few of these that came 2.5L turbo 5-speeds. boosted 12psi and fell off to 8 psi stock. the stock block has mahal cast pistons with very soild forged rods. the stock block and handle boost levels of 20psi with proper engine managment. this block is built and i'll be pushing around 24-26 psi with alcohol injection...the tranny is also bulletproof since it has a chromoly transplate installed.

this van is solid and definitatly be able to handle the 350+whp i'll be putting down.

well another update!!!!! the engine is FINALLY installed and running! sooo excited about it all. It only took 9 freakin months to get some custom parts made...but its hard to get custom CAST parts made since demand is low for these turbo dodges. but whatever....EVO's watch out for a white van...you just might get smoked!....dyno & 1/4 mile slips to come shortly!
