Not trying to hate on subies but they DON'T take mods very well and reliability is questionable since both motors blew.
EDIT: stock wrx's put down 160-170 whp on a dynojet

I don´t read this site to learn about subaru, those threads get in the way of my search.
also, try and use at least some grammar. u, kno, ganna and em are not even real words. And take note that I am from Iceland.

All you need is a catless exhaust and a flash and you will be making well over 300whp all at a minimal cost.....something no wrx can do. Enjoy! I think it takes about $3k to get in the 11's with a IX, that my friend is cheap power.

Though 300whp could be a problem if you make a poor turbo choice like a VF30. Also, it's not difficult to get 400whp out of an STI with a green. If you made such lousy numbers with your cars and blew them up I'd be talking to the person that tuned them, not *****ing about Subaru cars not taking mods. Sure, it's easier to get more horsepower out of a Evo than a WRX, but 3k (cheaper used) for stage 4 and you can have a good daily driven WRX making around 300whp, that's really not too bad.
point is--who cares. just get a car that you like more and enjoy.
