Sounds too high for those mods.

Well the advantages with the exhaust/intake won't be substantial. A bigger turbo would put up those kind of numbers, but I would think it would need the mods to support the turbo. He has the I/C to support to turbo, but what about injectors and EM?

I think stock they are around 195-205 at the wheels. If he upgrade the turbo, I think @280 would be the max, on a 'safe' tune. I could be wrong though.

If some girl was asking me about my mods to my WRX and it was a stage 4 I wouldn't bother telling her about my upgraded injectors and fuel pump... Even if I did tell her I doubt she would relay that info on to someone else... With the WRX most aftermarket turbos are boltons and you don't need kits like you see with the Evo, other than that you just need some EM (flash or piggyback) and some fuel. Every thing you need for stage 4 can be had for under 4k, that includes turbo, exhaust, utec, and fuel upgrades.

Plenty of guys making 300whp+ without upgraded internals and a "safe" tune.

I have owned 2 WRX's. With a VF-30 upgraded turbo w/ injectors, FMIC, ECUTEK reflash and tuning I put down 300 WHP here at DynoComp. It could be very possible just depending on the kind of turbo. Mine was a rare case, most with my setup put down about 260 to the wheels.

Evo9Kid, why do you keep asking us these dumb questions about Subarus? I don't understand. It's like you just make a new thread whenever something enters your head. This is not a sounding board for your kiddie curiosities. Try to keep it relevant to Evo General when posting, ok?

To answer your question a stock WRX would put down around 171whp. 330 w/ an upgraded turbo and the other mods listed is pretty standard. As most people upgrade to something liek a VF series (subaru specific) turbo, and they just frankly arent that big. My car made 328whp with mods. Most guys stick with the 280-300whp range becuase soon after you begin to blow trannies etc and it becomes not worth it, even if the boxer motor does sound like sex

Less.......I had 2 subarus and both of them but down pathetic numbers. My vf-30 wrx with supporting mods put down 270whp. My sti with a FP Green and supporting mods put down 335 whp. Not trying to hate on subies but they DON'T take mods very well and reliability is questionable since both motors blew.
EDIT: stock wrx's put down 160-170 whp on a dynojet
