Trailblazer SS

Finally!! Well after waiting for 2 months we went and picked it up yesterday! Its a Silver LS with no options except AWD, gotta keep it light for better times! lol

Its actually going to be my wifes car cause we traded in our Jeep Liberty for it but I dont want to stop driving it! Ive been driving my '87 Civic beater car for the winter since the Evo's in the garage with the motor torn apart and I have been seriously missing the power. Well this thing fills the bill. Its only got 110 miles so far so I havent gotten on it to hard but I can tell you its fast! Several members over at the Trailvoy forum have gotten 13.8-13.9's out of them stock and low 13's with simply the Vector tune! Needless to say that is first on the list when breakin is done.

I'll try to get some pics tomorrow if the weather is good. If you are wondering, yes, it does have a date with the 1/4mile in 5 weeks, stupid NW winter.

We went through the Costco Auto Program since I work there and out the door with taxes and all it was $32k. Seems like alot until you drive it.

dude are you kidding that is a great price for a Trailblazer with a corvette engine. It was way more expensive in the recent article where they compared it to the Cherokee SRT8

I've test drove one and the wife loved it. Wish we could afford the car payment along with my Evo's, though.

BTW I'm pretty sure the TBSS's running low-mid 13's with the tune are RWD, not AWD. I've been browsing that forum and it seems that even with the mighty LS2...you cannot escape AWD drivetrain loss.

Congrats on the badass SUV though. Hopefully once these sit around for a while, I'll be able to pick one up.

Well I guess we'll find out in a month or so. I might just have to go take some pics of it sitting in the garage cause our weather here sucks today.

I love it's re-designed front end; both on that model and the Tahoes...

Here are some pics for you. They arent the best looking in my to-small-garage though. I'll be taking some more when I get my car put back together and the weather is nice.
