Help pick a DD!

i think my parents are gonna sell one of our vehicles and in turn am suppose to get something of my choice. I want something thats gas efficient for the moment as i am going to use it to get to work and back. But also leave room for upgrades in case im in the mood to drive something else than an evo.

the new Honda Fit will debut shortly. gets 33/38mpg & will be cheaper than civics...

Scion Xa would work too

if u got deeper pockets, get the new Acura RDX coming out. the 1st consumer AWD turbo Honda...

gas efficient & room for mods......any honda's (civic eg/ek, integra dc2/dc5, new civic si). maybe a toyota mr-s if u're considering a drop top. if u dont mind doing a lil maintenance by urself, a s14 240sx with a sr20 later on would be a very fun car other than that i'm not sure wut's gas efficient while still have room for mods......

Yeah, if you like driving an ugly hatch get the RDX.

Back to the OP, are you looking for something new? A couple years old? If you were looking new, I might recommend something basic like the new Civic Coupe or something like that...

eg hatch + ls turbo = lightweight champ!

That is what I would do, if you blow the motor who cares buy another one. b18b's have low end torque also (not a great amount but good for a honda). Get a different tranny while you are at it, the one from the b16 engine is good and put in a quaife lsd. Buy a eg for cheap like 4g's and you could probably find a pretty nice one. Tons of aftermarket and quite cheap.
