Porsche 911 TT AWD Convertible vs Modded Evo8

In a race between my car and a Porsche 911 TT convertible awd would it be ugly from a roll? The porsche is stock with 444HP/457TQ. Stats on my car are below. The porsche weights slightly more and also it is convertible... Just guaging if it would be a "good race" or an "ugly race"

After 2nd gear, he would probably walk you easy.

Well I have calculated about an 8.1 Power to weight ratio for me and a 7.9 for his car.. With a 20% drive train loss I have 400HP vs his 444HP but his could be underrated but is a little heavier. I think it could be kinda interesting. But I do agree my car is not there yet... It would just be fo fun.. $129,000 vs $27,600

you'd have to account for the mods too so its not 27,600

I think you will keep up for a few seconds and I give him minimal advantage over you so I say he will win by minimal margin.

i did race from a roll against a bmw m3 euromodel it has like 380bhp and weights 2650lbs
we started to race me in first gear at 3500rpms and we went all the way to 145mph and i was like 1 car length ahead of him!
dont think it was a road race nop we use an old airfield to make top speed drag races yep and its completly legal in our country!
i would say you would win but it would be fairly close!!
i have a power to weight ratio of 7.9 vrs the m3 6.9!
this is my opinion!

TT Vert? Wow those are rare. Verts are heavier but expect 114-116 MPH traps with that cat.

i think you have a very good chance of edging him out or loosing by the same amount. but even if you loose by a minimal amount you still win. think about it a TT porshe against our little old EVO;S BEATING OR STAYING RIGHT UP HIS BUMPER IN A RACE. You put 124k in your evo and a saleen S7 TT wouldn,t even mess with you

I don't know, I still just don't think you have enough, your car should be trapping around 110-113MPH. 911 TTs trap anywhere from 115-118MPH and this is just through the 1/4 mile. They have tremendous top end speed. Those cars are very fast. I think in a race in the 1/4 mile it would be very close, I think you could even possibly win if your a good driver, but after that, the Porsche should walk you. Another 20-30WHP and you should be able to put up a much better fight.

Except the Saleen S7TT woulb be able to do it reliably, and with a warranty, but that's besides the point. The Saleen and Evo aren't even comparable. I think the Porsche would walk you from about 3rd up. One of my friends owns an evo, and my dad owns a 996TT coupe. Definately the Porsche though.
