Thanks man, I should have the first production run manufactured by the time you pick up your IX. Congratulations!

this reminds of some dude with a +650hp cobra that thought he could kill an enzo. they went from a roll..the enzo pulled on him like he was standing still.
once you guys start building speed...the turbo will wisk through the wind (creating less resistance...thus brisker acceleration), while the evo will try it's damdest to power through it
my assumption: from a 2nd gear roll...you will stay neck and neck, once you hit the top of third, he will start pulling on you and the gap will keep growing. by the end of 5th...he should have a good 3 car lengths on you...which isn't bad at all considering you drive a 4 door 4 banger.

I'll have to take sides with the Porsche in this one. Like others are saying, it would appear close for 2 , maybe 3 gears, but the Porsche would lay down the law after 3rd.
One of my last runs in my Evo was against a 360 Modena. My Evo had: Full turbo-back exhaust, drop-in filter, sticky Goodyears, and Vishnu XEDE. I'm assuming he was stock. We took off from a dig, he peeled out, I didn't. I had him to about 65, then he started to walk me. It was pointless for me to continue past 75.

It the porsche you racing equipped with the X50 package or is it a Turbo S model? Stock 996 TT only has 415HP not 444HP. On the top end the porsche is a beast, I know I just sold my 2001 996 TT. You might get close but over 90mph it is over.
