what are some cool cars you would get?
well ive been thinkin about what other cars i want to get if the evo does not meet my standards when it comes out. since ill be waiting untill late 2002 for the evo itll be lookin at 2003 models unless i get a used car which are some ive been lookin around for. anyways these are cars so far on my list besides the evo
2003 bmw 330i
used 99/00 audi s4
used 95-97 mitsubishi 3000gt vr4. THIS CAR IS SICK! i really want this but i hear it has so many problems. plus im sure insurance ont his would be enormous for a 17 male.
anyways this has been my choices so far. anyways ive gott a pretty good budget for my new car. 35 grand + a few grand if need be. so anything around there. im really into sport sedans.
i jus wanna see waht my options are and what some other ppl would buy for around this much money.

What kind of car are you looking for? The 330i is a nice car, but with all the options it gets pricey fast! A used S4 would be nice, but it would still be a good amount over a new Evo. The Evo should be arriving in January so try and hold out. The worst thing would be to buy a car now and then drool over every Evo you see on the road.

nah not really. most of them are family sport sedans. sure luxury sedans and they cost more than those hondas and **** so the insurance will still be reasonable. the 3000gt on the other hand is a full blown sports car and im sure my insurance for a 3000gt would be at least 4 to 5 thousand a year.

insurance is also based on the value of the car, a bmw will be hard to insure. Shoot, my OZ lancer is 3 grand a year for a 22 year old male (****ty record)
The new R1's for this year are awesome, but next year they're adding ram air induction to the bike.
And no, R1's are not the fastest vehicle on the road. Suzuki Hayabusa and the GXR-1000 are both faster stock bikes
I would get a 330ix awd beemer....
but for performance per dollar, EVO VII will be a force to be reckoned with in US...worth the wait

yah ive been lookin at motorcycles...jus purely out of interest...theres no way ill buy one. the suzuki hayabusa 1300 is sick! it has dual exhaust i love duals on motorcyles. how much hp it has? probly does 0-60 in what 3 seconds? 9s or 10s in the quarter?

I know if the evo ends up sucking I'll be getting an s2k. I might look at rx7s and supras too, but I'm pretty sure that If I hate the evo that comes over (unlikely) that my money will be put into an s2k.

yeah, I've sort of wieghed the options, I LOOOOOVE rx7s. If I had tons of money that would DEFINITELY be the car I would buy, but they don't make great daily drivers for those of us that need enough money set aside at all times to buy a totally new engine should the one I have explode. Supras are nice, but not very nice looking IMO, and after TF&TF came out they seem to be almost an automotive cliche'. I got to drive an s2k once, and I absolutly adored it. Its just a car that fits me very very well, and I think that everyone should have a convertible at least once, and as far as convertibles go, I think s2ks are the ****. Its really hard for me to explain my fascination with the evo. With every other car I like to have sportiness without sacrificing comfort and amenities, but I was willing to give that all up for the evo. For some strange reason, comfort and amenities in an evo repulses me. Its still very unlikely though that the evo will be detuned to a point that I will actually not buy it. they would have to go pretty damn far...like, remove AWD or something drastic like that...
