Flying into a Tree at 120MPH by some idiot who I guess wanted to jump his car like a rally diver. Be CAREFUL and do NOT do this.

NOTES: DRIVER LOST CONTROL OF VEHICLE, RAN OFF THE LEFT SIDE OF THE ROADWAY AND STRUCK A TREE. VEHICLE TOTALLY BURNED. DRIVER PRONOUNCED AT THE SCENE BY DEPUTY CORONER.

Sorry for the caps, this is almost a direct copy/paste of the accident report. The vehicle is said to have been going in excess of 120 mph, became airborn after running off the road, and struck the lone tree in the field...8 feet up. The single-car accident happened less than 2 miles from his home. I have more details (my girlfriends dad is the coroner), but I'll spare everyone. I'll be taking pictures tomorrow.

Everyone, please, let this be a reminder.

 

Oh. My. God. R.I.P. to that guy. Stupid for doing it but I still feel sorry.

RIP and what not again. I've seen too many of these lately to be shocked and saddened that someone died being irresponsible. It sucks. Sorry.

geez! just because you dumped a lot of money in your car doesnt make you invincible!

 

It's a stock 06 red Subaru brake caliper. Subaru started painting calipers on some of there cars, again. Car looks completely stock to me. Even Subaru's advanced safety ring couldn't prevent that. RIP to that guy.

Not to sound cold hearted, but he got what he deserved. We all know your car can kill you or somebody else, it takes just a small lapse in judgement. This was a MAJOR lapse in judgement. He was going way to fast, he wasn't on a sanctioned track, and to be honest he is lucky he didn't kill anybody else. Having a fast car is fun, but you have to be smart. This guy wasn't. I don't feel to sorry for him.

 

How do you know it wasn't suicide?
