The LA area Mini club had a dyno day last weekend. We had one Mini on hand powered by a B18c5 Type R Honda Motor. It put down something like 165hp to the wheels....in a car that weighs 1300lbs!

yea those things are pretty sweet. there are a few companies that make engine swap kits for classic minis using honda engines. gomini.com is one that comes to mind, i think i saw a company that even does a rwd swap. ive always wanted one of these i love them.

 

How much fun would that car be to drive? Its like a go kart for the street.
