Thumbs up 2007 Dodge Caliber SRT

Came across this today and thought it looked pretty good. I think GM/Ford has a long way to go to catch up to the competition. This has to be one of the best looking SUV's yet. 300hp and 260tq isn't bad either.

+1

Car looks like it could be pretty sweet, found this on Dodge's website:
http://www.dodge.com/caliber/caliber...FAutoshow&rid=

2.4L Turbo, 300hp 260tq, LSD, 6 speed, 19 inch wheels -- I'm excited to see it in real life.

Don't know how much it'll cost, but the 'R/T' model they list under "Build And Price" will be a just under $20,000 -- and the R/T says it has AWD!

That said, I'll believe all this for sure when I see it

Yea, +1 for AWD -- But I want to know how much it weighs.

I thought this was a compact hatchback, is it really going to be an SUV??

I am very interested to see one in person and to drive it. Build quality should be WAY superior to the old srt4.

I think mitsu will be long gone before them. Does mitsu make a profit off anything? Also, of the 3 domestic car companies Chrysler is the only one actually making a profit off of what they sell.

The weight of it will be 100 to 200 pounds more then the neon. FYI, it isnt as big as it looks. Its really just a tad bit bigger then a neon, but you know how dodge is.

They want everything to look big and bold, thus the reason everybody thinks its an suv and it weighs a ton. It dosent.

you guys realise that its not an SUV, right. its the same size as the neon it replaces. its more like a vibe or matrix. add 300hp and FWD...um...yeah thats dumb. they dont throw in the AWD because they dont want to compete with the evo, and this allows them to keep the price down, so they can be in a different class.
