Stock 300 SRT-8 runs 12's...

Witnessed by some LS1 owners:

Sorry for the misprint in the origional title - it's a 300 SRT-8 in the vid. Dodge Charger version pictured below. There's also a Magnum SRT-8 along with the 300 SRT-8.

The more I see and read about these 420hp monster sedans the more I like 'em - not bad getting a 4200lb sled in the 12's stock. Checking out the various SRT-8 boards, there are a number of onwers who've gotten 12 second time slips with their cars still stock.

A stock SRT8 should run 12s since the R/T with 80 less horsepower runs low 13s.

They are sweet cars though. If they weren't gas guzzlers I'd have one in my garage instead of an R/T.

I think they are crack ugly. Fast though. They could have done alot better with the Charger. It was an Icon in the 60s and 70s. Just my opinion though.

Very impressive for an auto and rwd. I see alot of women driving these cars. Saw a women in LA (on melrose) that had a trick-out one from platinum motorsports (black on black everthing... car, tint, rims) ... it was pretty damn nice.

Would be cooler if the design was more retro like the Dodge Challenger concept.

My buddy just got one, not as big inside as I would of thought, car pulls very hard, he also got hit with the gas guzzler tax. Would make a great daily driver.
