Nope all four tires would spin.

It had about 500whp in that video.

Later it had over 700whp.

The car is known as the new ST in England (the previous ST Focus being the ST 170). Top Gear tested this car on their track and found it overall slower around the course than the RS. The RS still has a better suspension system and the Quaife limited slip, don't forget.

This is a nice car though, and cheaper than the RS! However, a good second hand 2003 RS can be had for 15,000 pounds at a lot of UK dealers right now.

All that horsepower and the performance is less than impressive. Maybe they need to put a V-8 in them.

Focus ST (XR5) Top Gear Video Review

Again, ford needs to bring this car to the states. The current focuses are so bland, boring and out of date.

I wouldn't call it the hottest Ford hatch back, I still favored the RS over that car. Plus will probably never see that car over here, but you never no. With the Caliber SRT-4 and Mazdaspeed 3, this car would be good competition to both.

Yeah...power to weight and that 0-60 time don't really make sense, FWD or not. Compare to the SRT-4.

It's probably riding on bicycle tires.
